Pulverized coal and biomass boilers.
Thermal spray layer as a protection from corrosion, erosion or combination of both in these designs of boilers, which burn either pulverized coal in jet or swirl burners or crushed biomass fuel on firm or moving grate, is provided mainly for:
- membrane waterwalls, loose tubes and headers of vertical and roof furnace surfaces
- membrane waterwalls, loose tubes and headers of furnace archs and hoppers
- furnace evaporator or superheater platens
- sootblower tube openings
- DeNOx injecting tube openings
- economizer tubular assemblies (sootblower corrosion-erosion and fly ash erosion)
For all boiler designs we also provide thermal spray protection for tubes and headers of tubular heating banks, wherever operational temperatures, accessibility and servisebility allows it.
