Municipal and industrial Waste-to-Energy boilers.

Power generation by burning municipal waste in incineration plants as well as burning industrial waste gases in heat recovery units undoubtedly belong among the most aggressive environments, which power boilers are exposed to. Chlorines in flue gases quickly molten designed tube wall thickness, and so strength and lifetime properties of used materials become shortened. Thermal spray technology is used for this corrosion protection either solely or hand-in-hand with other measures primarily in areas:

• furnace membrane waterwalls as additional protection of Inconel 625 overlay
• furnace membrane waterwalls as a sole protection
  - primary layer under concrete refractory
  - primary layer under refractory tiles
• membrane water walls, headers and loose tubes of middle pass return chamber and screen
• DeNOx injection tube openings

For all boiler designs we also provide thermal spray protection for tubes and headers of tubular heating banks, wherever operational temperatures, accessibility and servisebility allows it.
